Love Not Laws’ NOM Response (Not a Parody)

In response to the National Organization for Marriage's "Gathering Storm" ad, a group called Love Not Laws has created their own version–"Weathering the Storm". The video includes actual people who are affected by anti-gay marriage legislation, unlike the no-talent actors hired by NOM.

The description for the video includes the following: "None of the people who appear in this video received any compensation for their time. None of the people who worked on this video received any compensation for their time. All materials used to create the video were donated. We simply came together to promote the ideals of love and equality."

It's an incredibly touching piece, and I wish them luck in their goal to prove that Margaret Mead was right when she said "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has." Truth!
