That’s an actual e-mail from one of our readers. While the comments section around here has never been a particularly friendly place, the past few weeks have really just been infuriating for us. We’re getting to a point where we’d consider banning the trolls who are consistently polluting our blog with negativity. In fact, there are some instance where we’ve already done that.
You can say that you have a right to your opinion, and this is censorship, and blah blah blah… But, at the end of the day, we have to do what’s right for our loyal readers. Can we please tone down the douchebaggery? This isn’t just about tattoos. It’s a general request on our part. Stop attacking models with your shallow judgments and assumptions about their personality or intellect. Stop attacking one another. Just stop it.
If we have to issue “warnings” for improper conduct, we’ll be more than glad to enforce a “three strikes, you’re out” system. However, you are adults. We don’t want it to get to that point. Act like adults, and we won’t have to take it there.
I’ve closed the comments on this post about Southern Strokes‘ Levi Robinson, because I’d like to masturbate to his pictures in peace. Frankly, I think his tattoos are beautiful, and there’s no amount of ink that could get me to turn away from that smile.
