Kelly Rowland & Lil Wayne: “Ice”

Kelly Rowland - Ice

I’d go straight for Kelly Rowland, but like, in the gayest way possible. We’d do the usual naughty things straight people do together, then have a sleepover where we’d chat about the good ol’ days with LaTavia. It might be what our people refer to as a “kiki“. Except there’d be intimate relations. With a lady. In several positions… Maybe even upside-down! I feel like I could be adventurous with Kelly Rowland.

I’m bringing this up because the video for Kelly’s latest single “Ice” just premiered, and it’s more arousing than my penis would like to admit. A part of me wishes the song were more “When Love Takes Over” than “Motivation 2.0“, and when this particular thought surfaces, it occurs to me that I’m just as gay as I think I am.

Kelly, what are you doing with yourself? A chilly, R&B sex jam like this is more suited for Cassie than someone with your powerhouse vocal abilities! Let’s step it up for the next single. Your gays need you on the dance floor, not in the bedroom.

  1. I watched this video and I liked it. But you can always count on Lil’ Wayne to ruin everything with his rap. At least he’s nowhere in this clip. You are right, Kelly needs to go back to dance music. Doing just R&B is gonna keep her around just her African American fanbase and she deserves to be such a international superstar like Beyonce.

  9. There was a time when his verses added quirk and humor, and his talent was unmatched, but that was like five years ago. I think he’s run out of interesting shit to say and is either burnt out or is using shitty ghostwriters for his verses. Disappointing.

Also agreed that Kelly needs to move back to dance music. Lay It On Me is still my jam, I blast that shit in the shower every once in a while.

  11. I am so queer for all of Destiny’s Children. This song is just okay. Wayne needs to not guest on such downbeat R&B songs with his nasal vocals.
