Last week, a lovely Manhunt Daily reader left a suggestion on our Ben Gibbard post, writing: “I’m currently obsessed with Jetta‘s debut single ‘Start a Riot’. You might like it.” After investigating this matter, I can confirm that, yes, I do indeed enjoy this song.
NME describes “Start A Riot” as “a little bit The xx, a little bit Florence and a little bit heavy metal”. As usual, I’m not sure if I one-hundred percent agree with this description, but I do hope it’s enough to get you listening… This chick’s got some serious pipes, and I look forward to hearing what else she has to offer!
