Given his numerous homosexual roles, there’s been a whole lot of speculation about James Franco‘s sexuality. However, in a brand new interview with The Advocate, the talented actor sets the record straight. And now for the obvious joke… we mean that quite literally.
Franco will soon appear in the lead role of Howl, a biopic based on the life of poet Allen Ginsberg. With that in mind, interviewer Benoit Denizet-Lewis brought up the question that everyone’s been dying to ask–what’s up with Franco playing gay all the time?
He responded: “In this history of cinema, there are so many heterosexual love stories. It’s so hammered, so done. It’s just not that interesting to me. It’s more interesting to me to play roles and relationships that haven’t been portrayed as often.”
Great answer! But that still doesn’t address whether he likes sucking cock. Denizet-Lewis moves on to ask whether someone like Franco could come out of the closet without the world stopping for a day or two, and he receives the following reply:
“I guess the reason I wouldn’t is because I’d be worried that it would hurt my career… But no, that wouldn’t be something that would deter me. I’m going to do projects that I want to do. Everyone thinks I’m a stoner, and some people think I’m gay… but it’s not true. I don’t smoke pot. I’m not gay…”
Well, that’s good to know! Now we can sleep peacefully, knowing that our fantasies of fucking James Franco won’t ever come true. In other words? We’re going to cry, because now we know he’ll never be our boyfriend.

James is amazing talented actor who should be judge by the quality of the work that he continues 2 deliver and not on whom he chose 2 sleep with ……
