Last night’s season finale of 30 Rock featured a handful of real-life musicians coming together for the not so real-life cause of getting one man a kidney. The group included many gay faves, such as Cyndi Lauper, Moby, Mary J. Blige, Sara Bareilles, Clay Aiken and Adam Levine of Maroon 5. Check out their spoof of celebrity charity singles like “We Are The World” and “What’s Going On? ’01” above.
My favorite moment of the episode was an exchange between Alec Baldwin‘s character and Mary J. Blige.

Her delivery was just fantastic! It’s seems odd that the season’s cliffhanger regards whether Jack’s dad will or will not get a kidney, but I’m already itching to see how they resolve this. And no, I’m not itching down there. That would be an entirely different problem.
