38. Nelly is a VERY judgmental term (as it butch/fem). It is not a description but rather a product of your evaluation of him and the judgements behind that evaluation. You can rationalize it any way you want but your need to judge others is clearly evident by your words and your defensive responses to those here who are trying to point that out. Your judgments tell way more about you than they do about Quinn (or anyone else that you are directing your own internalized judgments upon).

Two, a half-dozen other commenters called him “straight” or in other ways said exactly the same thing I said — that he was not believable as a straight guy. Three, in order for my statements to be “judgmental”, I would by definition have to be judging him negatively.     Quinn simply is a man who is doing what makes him happy and helps him get through life. All of those terms are judgments upon him. So when you call me judgmental, you’re assuming that I am rejecting Quinn for his effeminate behavior. In fact, I find homosexuality attractive in men, and as I expressed in my first post, I would enjoy his company. it is inaccurate to call me judgmental or discriminatory towards him since I am in no way rejecting him. I made a point in my very first post of expressing my admiration for him, to preclude the false interpretation that I was negatively judging him. Obviously it wasn’t sufficient, since a few folks have gone ballistic (while letting the other numerous comments about Quinn’s “straightness” going unchallenged). You can accuse me of judging him or attacking him — but that doesn’t make it true.
