Well, that’s what you get when you use ridiculous slurs, asshole! Remember Isaiah Washington? He was on ABC’s hit medical drama Grey’s Anatomy until a backstage argument with co-star Patrick Dempsey ended with the inadvertent outing of his OTHER co-star – T.R. Knight.
This was a huge deal, and more than one person present during the altercation stated that Washington referred to T.R. as a “faggot”. Knight went on Ellen to acknowledge that yes, he was gay and that, yes, Isaiah was a homophobe. Washington didn’t exactly help his case when he chose the press line at the Golden Globes to deny he used the word but USED THE WORD TO DENY HE USED. REPEATEDLY. It was the most awkward thing I’ve seen on TV since Kim Kardashian tried to get us to believe she got married for love.
Washington has a movie coming out called Blue Caprice. In an interview with Huffpost Live, he claimed that he didn’t get any work for years due to the incident. By the way? This is a lie, because he was almost immediately hired for the failed Bionic Woman remake after he left Grey’s. This bitch.
“I didn’t have a choice. After the incident at the Golden Globes everything just fell apart. It literally stopped. Whatever the agenda, whatever the plan was it worked. I lost everything. I couldn’t afford to have an agent. I couldn’t afford to have a publicist for the crisis management to continue. I couldn’t afford to continue. I went from 2 million dollars a year to residual checks. Zero. I couldn’t get another apartment after I turned in my lease for my $3 million home. I had to put it in my wife’s name. No one wanted to touch the name of Isaiah Washington for three years.”
Well, hey, you and Mel Gibson. Yes, the Gay Mafia ruined your life. It probably wasn’t a great idea to talk shit to a gay guy IN A TOWN RUN BY THEM. By the way… two million a year? Shouldn’t you be able to live fairly comfortably on that if you’re not an idiot?
The lesson learned should be – don’t be a homophobic dickbag. Or at least keep it to yourself.

I always believed we never knew the full story (as there were so many conflicting ‘reports’) but I do know that if he was more liked or respected the damage wouldn’t have been as swift and long-lasting. Look at Tracy Morgan, he said much more inflammatory remarks and was able to keep his job on 30 Rock (right or wrong). They wanted to get rid of Isaiah and he gave them the perfect opportunity.
Probably so we won’t forget and so that those who didn’t know will now be aware.. and so we can still act on our agenda of not endorsing his career by going to his movies or watching his shows. At least that’s what I think the reason for this post. J. Harvey would have to tell us himself if he doesn’t want us to conjecture.

OMG, what a douchebag, he still hasn’t owned up to what he did and blames everyone else for shunning him. he said something about his loving wife and three kids not seeing that in him but that is all a point of view, if you raise your children that way they are not going to think what you did is wrong naturally. get a life and own up to what you did and maybe you can get back to being a real actor again someday. until then no sympathy here.
