Actually, I don’t know if OneRepublic is Christian rock for sure, but it sounds like it. I peeped this video for their new single “Counting Stars” and got my first look at lead singer Ryan Tedder. Dude is cutesy! Despite possessing every element of “douchey straight guy” (fedora, artfully distressed clothes, awful overproduced music about apologizing), watching him dance about got me interested in what’s in his pants. There is such a thing as “hot douchebag”. Scratch that, it sounds gross.

I have never heard of this band. However, if they are a Christian rock band, then the depiction of the evangelical meeting suggests that they are even more self-laothing and pathetic than most Christians. Let’s all do the worm to purge ourselves of sin!
Tedder went to Oral Roberts University – big evangelical school. He’s definitely a “faith-based” artist, from Tulsa. ORU is famous in the area for the closeted students on grindr and Craigslist. I’m guessing that if you did him you’d have to pray with him afterwards. Yech!
I’ve heard a few of One Republic’s songs but never seen the band. While I don’t think he’s all that attractive he is one helluva song writer. He’s written some pretty big hits for many artists, the latest being Beyoncé’s “XO”
I actually know Ryan, and although he may dress “douchey” he is actually a really nice guy…and quite cuter in person… and his bulge…well let’s just say it’s nicely pronounced all the time and needs to be suckled on 🙂

Yeah, he wrote both songs for Leona Lewis, plus, Happy from the movie “Precious.” Obviously, she turned down Halo, and it went to Beyonce, and all 3 songs broke the Top 20
