If you live in the US and read this blog, odds are good you know it’s Columbus Day! If you live in the north east part of the US, odds are good you got today off from work or school! Not so for most guys in the south – I grew up down where this wasn’t considered a holiday. Just a time to go buy mattresses if you missed your chance on Memorial Day.
Since lots of areas are now celebrating Indiginious Peoples Day instead of Columbus (because that guy was pretty shady, contrary to what your history books said), and since a lot of people who read this aren’t in the US and maybe don’t care about our made up semi-bank holiday anyway, ANNDD because it was shockingly hard to find some super gay/sexy Christopher Columbus vids/pics, we’re counting down my Top 10 Favorite Vintage Photos of Seamen.
