Hot Flash: The Fuzzy Goodness of “Real Men Real Life”

Atlanta-based photographer John Edward Fink aims to celebrate “the beauty of all kinds of men, from all walks of life, from a wide variety of ages in life” with his ongoing project Real Men Real Life. His subjects have a tendency to lean toward the older, hairier walk of life, including such modern gay daddy icons as Allen Silver and David Pevsner.

(There’s also a handsome, silver-haired model named Chip who I’m kind of obsessed with. You saw him here with Fink’s logo rudely cropped out, and I would just like to go on the record that I want to suck his dick so, so much… And, you know, maybe sit on it too.)

Awkwardly long parenthetical segues aside, it should probably be mentioned that if you enjoy what you see here, you can make sure you don’t miss a single image of the Real Men Real Life project by following on Facebook or Tumblr. If you’re a fan of dick pics—and I know most of you are—I’d highly recommend following the Tumblr for the naughtier shots.

  1. These guys are definitely hot! Would love to see this series with some hot men of color included too!

  2. wow. Cuz that’s what real men look like? What a surprise. Gay guys aspiring to hetero-normative bullshit concerning masculinity. More assimilation to add to the fire, but what’s hot is hot I guess. I just really wish they didn’t use that title.

  3. Beautiful men, great photos….I’m impressed. I search for men like this all the time. I don’t have the eye….

  4. Finally some men with Fur and a bit older. Age is like wine it usually gets better with age like these guys did. Love it!

  5. I’m not sure that’s the angle they were going for. I didn’t interpret it as they are masculine and therefor real men with emphasis on “men”…I saw it more as these are “real” men as opposed to the images we are presented in the media all the time. These men are real – they have different body types (not all gym bunnies), they have body hair (not all waxed / shaved), they are of varying ages (not all in the 18-21 demographic). I checked the website and Facebook page and nowhere did I see anything that implied these men are real because they represent masculinity. I suppose it’s just how a person reads the title but my self, I didn’t take anything negative from it – quite the opposite, in fact.
