Contrary to popular belief, I'm not the biggest fan of putting other people down or crushing their dreams. With that said, Heidi Montag needs to be stopped immediately. Though she hasn't quite committed Aubrey O'Day's crime of eternally ruining New Order's "Bizarre Love Triangle", she apparently thinks she's going to be the next Britney Spears.
"I grew up watching Britney Spears," she told Access Hollywood. "That’s someone I inspire to be, you know, like, career wise. I think the world is ready for the next pop star and I’m ready to be the next pop galaxy, so here we go.”
Um, Montag's self-designation as "the next pop galaxy" is seriously insulting to intergalactic lifeforms. Did you see her performance of "Body Language" from the Miss Universe pageant? It was the definition of awkward attempts at trying way too hard. I hate being such a bitch about this, but a lot of people want to be pop stars and some people definitely don't deserve to be.

OK, granted that I’ve never even heard of Heidi Montag before now, that performance doesn’t inspire anything but the urge to change the channel.
She reminds me of those porn actresses who decide to record music because they become convinced they’re multi-talented, only Ms. Montag here hasn’t paid her dues. I vote she get herself a job doing bukake porn (she’s got the look already) and try again in a few years.
Which brings me to another point: in this day and age of ‘just-add-camera stardom’ why are we giving license to these wannabes to proclaim their own star quality. Time was, it was record sales and sold-out concerts that determined “star power”.
Wow… Ive seen drag queens sing better live (Heidi is SOOO lip syncing). Ive seen drag queens dance better and be more creative… Can someone please just do off with Heidi and commit her to some kind of looney bin?

she doesnt have most of things that make britney who she is.
1. gorgeously ear-pleasing name: Britney Spears 🙂 compare that to Heidi Montag. lol
2. the super pretty, sweetheart looks that britney has. that butt face can’t beat that.
3. the super sweet seductive/innocent singing voice that britney got. heidi can sing all she want, but she’ll never have it. christina got much stronger voice, but is she more appealing that britney? the answer is nope.
4. britney’s smile. oh well, no need to comment here. her smile is probably responsible for half the hearts that she captured.
5. britney had a super explosive, out-of-nowhere success with her first single and album. anyone heard a montag song? i bet 80% of the readers havent. would anyone like to catch up what they missed? i doubt.
6. in addition britney is such a nice person and it shows very well if u watch interviews/behind the scene stuff about her. she can be bitchy too, but generally she is a sweetheart. not sure about that on heidi, but it doesnt really matter. she’ll never come close to what britney has become. i could list things endlessly, but it’s not needed at all. the answer is still the same:
