So last year I had the brilliant idea to enroll in a lifeguard program at my university. I might have a “swimmer’s body’ but I definitely don’t have a swimmer’s lungs. It did not go well and I quickly dropped out of the program; however, during the two sessions I managed to attend, I noticed something weird. When changing into their swim trunks, all the guys seemed terrified of seeing each other’s dicks!
At least I think that’s what it was. Everyone was doing this weird towel skirt thing to avoid hanging dong in the locker room. Which I suppose there’s really nothing wrong with but it just made for a funny scene as four college guys desperately tried to hold up their towels.
When did that become a thing? Before I got super lazy and stopped working out I remember that seeing some bare ass in the locker room was just a given.
Then again I used to work out with more middle aged men so maybe it’s one of those “I’m not comfortable with my body”-type things. I don’t know nor do I care but it was hilarious looking back at how red in the face they all got when my dick came flopping out.

This happens because porn and society has made it a point that dick size is everything and the bigger your dick the better the man. Also men are afraid everyone is gay and they will be victims of gay men’s insatiable need to have sex with every man in the world (sarcasm).
Heh! I just made a comment in the thread about dick size. Yes, most men (under 50, I’d say) are deathly afraid of someone seeing their dick. I think there are quite a few who don’t want to be seen naked by another man. I go to the gym each day — and it’s always obvious when a guy hesitates in dropping his towel or dropping his short. I’m not someone who stares at other guys — but am fairly aware of what’s happening around me. I often see guys looking before dropping their briefs — as if they don’t want to be seen. Probably the biggest two reasons are homophobia and low self-esteem (as far as dick size goes). Then there is the over 60 crowd — who would probably be happy walking the streets buck naked. There is no need to shave in the buff!
