God Bless Sean Sullivan

Sean Sullivan

In honor of July 4th, I decided to feature this very hot patriotic photoshoot featuring hot model Sean Sullivan. What says I'm a proud American more than getting naked and wrapping yourself with the American flag? Staring at these pictures, made some fireworks go off in my pants… I need to clean up now. All I have to say is God Bless America!

  1. very nice.
though i wish he didn’t feel the need to shave all his body hair in order to be someone…

  2. Flag desecration at it’s worst. I don’t mind the stud, but wrapping one’s self in the American Flag and laying on the ground with it is just wrong and classless on this day of all days, 4 July. The Stars and Stripes should NEVER touch the ground, even with a hot stud wrapped in it.

  3. This is also the month to celebrate hot Puerto Rican men! They’re famous for their big chests, angelic faces, and hot bubble butts. Andy, are you listening? Let’s see some pictures! This is the month to do it. (The Statehood Party celebrates July 4 and the Commonwealth Party celebrates July 25.)

  4. Yeah Honor Us Gay Veterans, please dont show pics that that Dishonor the Flag and Country…..Very Proud Gay Man Loveing the Great U.S.A

  5. Are people seriously getting their panties in a twist just because he is wearing a flag around himself nude and on the ground with it? Seriously people, it is just a piece of cloth.

  6. No, JF, it’s more than a piece of cloth… I’m not a jingoist or anything, but I think this is offensive and I’m not alone.

  7. Manhunt, you should know better – it’s improper to let the flag touch the ground, and using it as a towel is just tasteless. Geez, the people who update this blog just get dumber and dumber… try thinking with your OTHER head for once.

  8. I think everybody should just lighten up period. It’s not the flag we are celebrating it is the birth of our country. The flag come secondary to that. That flag is printed on everything from tshirts to towels so quite frankly I’m sure it’s been wrapped around a lot of bums before this one. Our way of life is what’s precious even though in case you didn’t notice “our” country doesn’t really like that fact that we are here in the first place. Or have we forgotten we are still fighting to be completely welcome? At any rate Just enjoy the pics for the artistry, although kinda minimum, and not be crabby for one day.

  9. ya to be honest i normally think the topics on here are silly and the people to be a bit whiney.. but they have a point. the flag is supposed to be a symbol of national pride it shouldnt be wrapped around anyones ass or be drug on the ground… its a symbol of pride and for our soliders it is something they die for..

  10. and whats up with the nerd glasses?
Whoever took this photo shoot needs to go back to school lol
I also agree that the flag is Not something that one warps around their ass etc. Tacky !

  11. JF if you just think of the Flag as piece of cloth and live in the U.S.A….Do us a Favor Go to Iran an drag there Flag on Ground we both know what will Happen…We have common Sense here, Lets Honor it, to many Americans has died for this Flag so we can enjoy our Freedom(Gays not all of it YET)but Honor its Symbol and what it stands For….I guess you have not Served in the Military or Govt. to understand

  12. Isn’t the point of the “freedom” we purportedly celebrate that we’re allowed to disagree about these things respectfully? And without being told to move to another country? (And by the way, some of these posts suggest we shouldn’t be too proud of our educational system.)

  13. it could be taken from an angle he could be laying on the side of a house(but i could be wrong)

  14. i agree the flag shouldn’t be used this way, but se’an has a point. yes this country hasn’t fully welcomed us into it yet. i’ve witnessed a church burning a pride flag, so a model wearing a US flag is irrelevent IMO. take AAA’s advice and agree to disagree and just look at the eye candy

  15. People seem to just get a bit ridiculous with things like this. I’ve worked for the government and Most of my family have been in the military. So I respect this country the same as anyone else. But I’m not going to throw a little fit and say that having a flag on the ground is disrespectful. We drape flags over corpses. They make Towels with flags on them so you can wipe your bum with it after showering. Women have stars and stripes panties. It IS just a piece of cloth. What is portrayed in these photos is not disrespectful unless you want it to be. If you choose to misconstrue the patriotism that was intended to be displayed then shame on you. And no other.

  16. Grow up Pj thats a REAL Flag that is on the pic. not a piece of cloth, if I had thrown paint on your leather Prada Jacket you would be one mad Queen, We all Enjoy our American Dream, but we all forget to Respect the people and Symbols that got us there!!!!

  17. A symbol is just a symbol. Men fought and died for the principles that the flag stand for (which include freedom of expression), not for the flag. My grandfather, who went to West Point and fought for this country in WWII, was far more offended by the use of American flags to advertise used car dealerships (crass commercialism), than flag burning, which he regarded as the height of the freedom of expression and the use of the flag for what it is– a symbol.

  18. it’s true…there are certain rules about the flag. have to agree, it’s in poor taste. but otherwise, HOT! ha

  19. I think it’s tacky for sure. However, I think the worst you can fault the model and photographer for is being intellectually lazy and artistically mediocre. Frankly, I know as many people on the other end of the “flag reverence” spectrum who are just as guilty on both counts. Given how highly America values freedom, I think it’s safer to err on the side of more understanding than less. It’s like we often see with freedom of speech: some people will do things with their liberty that we do not approve of, but to deprive them of the right to do so would be more unAmerican than this photoshoot could be called.

  20. Dont Worry I think he is VERY Hot, but that is disrespect to the Flag, not that I would expect all of you to understand, but to us veterans it is the symbol of our country, we pledge our allegiance to it, we salute it, and if we die in combat its our blanket on our coffin to till we make it home, then its folded and handed to our next of kin, karrhorn I think you meant freedom of Speech, have not heard of expression( I could be Wrong )

  21. Freedom of Expression and Freedom of Speech are synonymous in US law. The term “freedom of expression” is used to clarify that freedom of speech includes the right to express oneself not only in speech but through any other medium as well. Obviously, “freedom of speech” in US law is interpreted to go far beyond simply the spoken word (otherwise it would be a meaningless freedom).
I fully understand the power of the flag as a symbol and I salute it as well. I have watched a relative’s flag draped coffin and saluted the flag handed to his wife. (Both she and he, by the way, felt the same way as my grandfather about the flag). But we should have the strength and intelligence to understand the flag as representative of greater principles and not simply a superstitious symbol.
So for this photo shoot, let the flag be what it always is: cloth! I don’t think it’s any more crass than the commercial monstrosities flying over my local car dealership.

  22. tactless.
i’m surprised to see other gay men agreeing with me–it’s guys like you who need to be a major voice for gays today. the majority of americans see gays as fems and unpatriotic libs. a voice of reason and MODERATION will go very far, i can guarantee it!

  23. SERIOUSLY. Of all the things you could have put on here, you put a naked guy carelessly desacrating the American Flag. As a Gay Veteran, I am disappointed that you couldn’t even mention us today. It shows the true color of On-Line Buddies, Inc. Perhaps I should cancel any of my paid subscriptions and encourage all Gay Veterans to do the same.

  24. Do you really want me to post all the links of hot women draped in American flags that striaght men (including, no doubt, vets) get off on? This is an interesting freedom of speech discussion, but it’s not limited to the gay world.

  25. Please get over yourselves. Its a flag. its a bit of cloth. You guys always over react. You need to talk a deep breath and chill. Its not the end of the world. There are many more important things to think about. So what if he used the flag , I would wipe my arse on it , you guys should have no pride in your country. You have nothing to be proud of, get over it and move on zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  26. thanks to all Gay veterans for their part in securing freedom in America!!! i truly appreciate your sacrifice. i’d love to show you how i feel 🙂
    sincerely thankful!

  27. Honestly none of this matters in the end anyway. No matter what is posted in this column someone here is going to get pissy about it. so let the complainers complain and cancel their memberships. That way they’ll leave behind the people who can objectively view things that come their way without blowing it out of proportion. Wish you guys could do that with our issues…maybe we’d actually get things done a lot quicker than they’re getting done. This is nothing to argue over. Quite frankly, it’s pointless to even try. As with everything in this country it can’t just be taken for what it is and appreciated..no, it has to be a political statement or agenda. It’s just a picture people.

  28. mindless idiots…it’s a piece of cloth. t. stop drinking the lool-aid and get over it

  29. well said sean its time to move on . Its like the j timberlake and janet jackson row where she showed a nipple. You guys show porn on digital tv all through the days. <You have a massive porn industry but shout and scream about a nipple thats shown ,,,, …. you guys have a world series in sport but only the americans play.. lololol like joe jackson said all of the countries in the usa will miss MJ. your all bonkers

  30. dont worry most of us has move on to helping this community get its business togather, dont worry I am always Very Proud of this Country in good time and bad, sorry my life turn out Well, Hope your Dreams turns out Well for you and as veterans why would we ever think we are the only one out here

  31. thank you veterans.
    thank you veterans.
    thank you veterans.
    thank you veterans.
    thank you veterans.
thank you for ensuring our freedom,
    July 4, 2009!

  32. I never post here, but I’m an avid reader, and I do have to say that for all of you guys who are so much against seeing the flag used in an artistic medium, it would do you some good to educate yourselves in spelling and grammar. I’m incredibly thankful for all of our troops, which include my cousin and my aunt. And God knows that all of our military have given the ultimate sacrifice.
But really… I don’t think that anything about these photos are distasteful. Guys, get over yourselves. YOU are the queens that get offended at every little thing and cause such a commotion. PLEASE just enjoy the photographs for what they are: an expression of artistic freedom which we are fortunate enough to enjoy. I thank God on a daily basis that I live in a society that values freedom as much as ours.
    Others aren’t as fortunate, remember…

  33. OK, I’ll throw out a few points that perhaps haven’t been considered here.
    1. One reason that flag-burning is such a controversial subject is that it’s recognized as such a serious message. It remains (but just barely) one of the ultimate symbols of one’s disagreement with the government precisely because of the message it sends: those in charge of the government have so distorted what the country should stand for as to sugggest that our country, as symbolized in the flag, no longer exists. It’s akin to the time-honored tradition of flying the flag upside-down as a symbol of distress – it is a (formerly) universally recognized symbol that something is terribly wrong at the flag-flying spot.
When the flag is treated as just another prop on a photo shoot, it loses that power as a symbol of something important. And in a generation or two, we’ll have a populace so dumbed-down by commercialized stunts like this (and yes, it’s just a commercial stunt, pushing this man-ho and/or his photographer) that they no longer have a way to express extreme political feelings without shooting someone.
    2. The fact that a lot of cheesy women sluts have been photographed draped in flags doesn’t make this any better. It makes us as low as them. Come on, guys – we’re always talking about how gays have better taste than those tacky heteros. Can’t we prove it?
    3. Yes, the flag’s often used on 4th of July napkins and worse. I think that’s awful. For a long time, people understood you could use red and white bunting, blue & white stars, and the like to evoke the national colors without actually using the flag as a symbol, but somewhere along the way, that was lost. Still, again, I think we can do better. We OUGHT to do better.
    4. As for the idiots above who confused putting a flag over the casket of a veteran with this sort of display – well, obviously you just don’t get it. A nation drapes the flag over the caskets of its soldiers as a symbol of the nation embracing the fallen soldier until he is returned safely to rest. Comparing that to this poolside stunt is … well, it just doesn’t compare.

  34. Thank You John, Kevin M, and everyone who “Got it” but as we all know, some guys here will never get it, but we will all move froward and Help this Community move Forward…..just like Harvey Milk did, a Navy Veteran, Enjoy your Life Gentlemen Great things are Heading our Way.

  35. For those of you who defend the use of the flag in this post, I agree that Freedom of Speech will allow this. However, just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should. Thats what makes this use very, very tacky.
The flag is a symbol of our country. It should be used either to show high respect for our country and its people, or to show your protest against something you feel the government is doing wrong. These photos do neither. They are being used in a tasteless manner.

  36. Did anyone forget the fact that the majority of American Flags are produced in other countries?
I agree this act is tacky to degrade a symbol, but this is not the first time it has happened. The photographer wasn’t trying to imply a message by taking that photo. He was just getting in the spirit of celebrating independence.

  37. This post is in poor taste if for no other reason than the violations of the flag code. My main concern, however, would be the disrespect that it shows to gay service members who have fought to protect the US Flag and freedoms that it symbolizes even though they may not yet enjoy all of those freedoms.
Manhunt has pulled posts for much less and I am apalled that this post remains after the amount of negative feedback that has already been posted.

  38. LOL what is arguably the most sexually depraved group on Earth is crying over the appropriateness of the USA flag being used as a towel and touching the ground hahaha
    Funny.
All of you, spare me your twisted senses of patriotism. Apart from the veterans who fought in the US military, none of you have any right to the “pride” you have in this country, and the “indignation” of having a flag used as a towel.
Blow me. Your being an American is nothing but an accident of birth.
PS: Those of you who call this treatment of the flag “tasteless”: what are you, on crack-cocaine? Are you even remotely aware of the type of site you’re posting on??? hahaha
