I believe I can type with some authority that it’s been the most fucked-up week in Boston’s history. And honey, we’ve faced molasses disasters, tea dumping, stranglers, busing riots, terrorists using our airport, and having Mitt Romney for governor. It’s frightening, surreal, and I know we’re all praying for this end to with no more death or injury. What are you gonna do? Here’s an item about a hot guy to distract you.
ITEM – Bradley Cooper visited one of the many Marathon bombing heroes in the hospital here in Boston this week. Cooper is filming a movie here in town. Jeffrey Bauman Jr. is the man in the wheelchair from that now sadly famous photo after the bombing. Bradley, along with fellow cool guy and New England Patriot Julian Edelman, took a pic with him. Enough about Bradley, because Bauman is the one to admire here. Despite losing both his legs, the first thing he did when he woke up in the hospital was write a note saying that he had locked eyes with one of the bombing suspects and helped police identify them. Incredible.
As for Bradley, he’s awesome and I would like to point out that he didn’t Tweet this pic or anything so it was one of those classy “I’m going to do this and not talk about it” deals. Yeah, you’re like “uh, he didn’t do much really…” but a lot of these bloodsucker celebrities would have had it as their Facebook cover photo. Kim Kardashian gives a quarter to a homeless person and makes sure the paps are there to cover it.
