Garbage: “Big Bright World”

Shirley Manson WERQ

“Big Bright World” was exactly what I needed from a Garbage comeback album. The latest offering from the band’s fifth studio album Not Your Kind of People reminds me of why I fell in love with them in the ’90s. It’s more immediately likable than “Blood For Poppies”, and as usual, lead vocalist Shirley Manson continues to be an eternal goddess of pure flawlessness.

Be sure to check out the brand new music video! Though the song was originally released two months ago in Australia, these visuals are fresh and utterly fantastic. Work that veil, Shirley! WORK IT. <– I’m not sure why Shirley Manson brings out my inner drag queen, but she just does, okay?

  1. AMAZING!!!!!!! The whole album is great. You should also check out “Control”, “Felt”, and “Automatic Systematic.”

  2. Speaking of bringing out your inner drag queen, Dewiit. It I ever did drag, Shirley Manson would be my inspiration.

  4. Shirley brings out all of our inner drag queen because she is damn “bloody fabulous” as she would say. She is rock goddess perfection. I’m a huge fan if you can’t tell by my praise. Love love love Garbage, and Shirley……

  5. My favourite band. They are brilliant live if you get the chance to see them. Shirley really burns up the stage.
