It’d be relatively impossible for US audiences to comprehend S Club 7‘s hold on the early aughts. While they only scored one hit over here with “Never Had A Dream Come True”, their success overseas was measured by three platinum albums, eleven top-ten singles and numerous television series.
And now one of the members has officially come out of the closet. Yup, Jon Lee is a total ‘mo. This may come as a big “duh” to those who were familiar with the group, or it might be huge news. We’re not exactly sure, but it’s still nice to hear another celebrity openly talking about his sexuality.
“If someone had said ’are you gay?’ I would have said yes,” Lee told GT magazine. “But no-one ever did. I’ve never felt the need to leap out of the closet singing and dancing about it. I’ve always known I was gay, from a very young age. I came out to my friends and my family at a very young age, so for me it’s always been my life and it’s never needed to be a huge change that I’ve had to tell everyone about.”
In other news, he’s looking extremely hot on the magazine’s cover, wearing nothing but a pair of red briefs. Does it get steamier on the inside pages? We’ll let you know as soon as we find out…

I definitely remember them. They had a TV show called S Club 7 that came on Fox Family i believe. It also starred Linda Blair as their landlord i believe. I never thought of any of the guys as being hot, but that Rachel… makes me drool now just thinking about her. I think it was her and Jennifer Anniston playing Rachel on friends that caused me to love the name “Rachel”
I use to love watching their show when i was younger. Total hotties!!

If people feel the need to come out of the closet, then that’s peachy. The idea of posing on a magazine and making a declaration to the world seems a bit narcissistic. All of these books and magazine covers seem a bit selfserving and indulgent
We don’t put our straight male entertainers through the ringer like we do women and gays. If a heterosexual actor is a serial dater then he is seen as fun and fancy free, but if a gay actor is seen out with different guys then he is portrayed as a wild sex-crazed pervert.
Why does it matter if someone is homosexual or heterosexual? what matters is if they’re a good entertainer or not.

I am not even kidding. I watched this show when I was something like 8 years old, and I remember thinking this guy was cute as! Gee… I can actually remember being attracted to him… That is just scary. Scary in the way the mind works, anyway. I seriously thought I had this distinctive moment much later in life…
While I’m on the topic, I remember an episode of the show when he was caught in just a towel and the girls of the group saw him naked when it dropped. Hahaha.
