Pull us over, arrest us, search us, use the cuffs – show us what you learned in the police academy, Jake. Will he be teaching the CPR class? Can I be the dummy? Don’t answer that.
Fresh from huddling up to Bear Grylls for warmth, here’s Jake on the set of his upcoming cop flick End of Watch.
A slight nitpick – they COULD have made the pants a little snugger and played to his audience. A regulation police sock in that crotch really would have completed this law enforcement deal. Jake always gave us the impression that he might be packing. Hopefully the DVD will have a deleted scene in which he’s wielding something other than that gun.
And in response to a recent commentator, yes, 15 year-old-girls DO write the Daily.

some men can work the shaved head and still look as sexy as with hair… Jake alas, is not one of them… i’d still go there, but he’s much hotter with hair.

Once upon a time I was deeply in love with JG. But over the years that love has fallen. I think it has a lot to do with his film choices. Source Code was the first film he did since Brokeback Mountain that I actually enjoyed and I have to admit it has less to do with Jake’s fine performance in the film and more to do with Duncan Jones’s excellent direction. Once I was sure Jake would emerge as THE ACTOR of his generation. I’m convince now that title will belong – rightly – to Ryan Gosling. Because so far he’s able to go “Hollywood” while at the same time picking film projects that truly highlights his gifts as an extremely talented actor. Currently Jake doesn’t seem to have that ability. End of Watch sounds promising – and he looks extremely sexy in that police uniform – but then again most of Jake’s films sounds promising before they open. But once they do you find yourself rather disappointed with the end results.
