Autumn is one of my favorite times of the year, and it has nothing to do with the breathtaking foliage, pumpkin spice lattes or any of that other typical bullshit. I just, um, really love when it’s football season. While I don’t have the patience to religiously follow every single game, there are odd little comforts that warm my heart—the male camaraderie at the local bar, the overall aggressive energy of the sport itself, and the fact that I get to look at a giant cardboard cutout of Rob Gronkowski every time I walk into Dunkin Donuts.
No other sport, aside from maybe hockey, provides me with the same level of happiness and horniness. (Sorry, Red Sox!)
