When my darling Deviant Otter referred to his latest scene as his “first actual raw flip flop”, I couldn’t help but tilt my head to the side and wonder how that’s even possible. Thankfully, he went on to clarify on the matter, and I think he was merely implying that he’s never gone back and forth, then back and forth again with his partner(s). Allow him to explain in his own words:

Manhunt blog has a fascination with these bareback types. Frankly, I’m seek of seeing “deviant Otter” and The Maverick Men here. There are featured so frequently, that you have to wonder is there some sort of financial deal going on in the background. They aren’t even that “hot”……

At the end of the day, this is just a blog. There’s nothing necessarily to say that Dewitt *has* to give a fully balanced set of posts, though from what I see he genuinely tries to do so.
Also, this is actually the first Deviant Otter post I’ve seen in a little while, so…
What I think the issue is, is that when he DOES post about Deviant Otter, the Maverick Men etc. it sticks out to you more because you don’t like them, and that’s fair enough if you don’t, but others do find them hot, and if Dewitt likes to write about them then that’s his decision to make.
Regarding bareback, if grown adults aren’t capable of making their own decisions about the kind of sex they want to have without being influenced by what is, a lot of the time, a staged fantasy, then they shouldn’t really be having sex at all.
Oh and yes, bareback IS ok if a person chooses to do it, with honest, open discussion and any appropriate preparations taken, such as PrEP. Honesty is the key thing there, but then that’d also be a key thing for if you were having safer sex as well. Sex in general isn’t necessarily the safest thing in the world, but as long as you keep your wits about you, what is there to fear?

Why do you assume that they don’t have their performers tested regularly?
The Maverick Men are pretty ADAMANT about getting their models tested. On a few occasions, they’ve even gone out of their way to film themselves going to get tested with their models.
As for Deviant Otter, he has openly spoken out that he is HIV-negative and using PrEP. I don’t know the full logistics of his testing process, but I know for a fact that he communicates with his partners beforehand about their preferences.
You’ll note that all of his scenes aren’t bareback, and in his threesome with Max Cameron and Bravo Delta, you can see that Deviant Otter doesn’t use a condom, but Bravo Delta does. That’s a major development for gay porn – allowing performers to choose how they want to fuck.
