Today we’re taking it way back in our Flashback Friday series, as we direct our attention (among other things) toward this September 1968 spread from The Rawhide Male. According to the folks at Retro Men Plus, this was the first nude “regular-sized” magazine from Kris Studio, and these images appeared in their inaugural issue.
Hairy hunk Johnny Amati appeared on the cover in nothing but a cowboy hat and a pair of boots. Though you can’t see the latter in the picture above, they add a believable edge to the rugged, outdoorsy appeal of this shoot. When paired with Johnny’s excellent physique and natural fur, it’s enough to make you want to hop on for a ride…
