Versace is looking to build the world's first refrigerated beach in Dubai that will open in 2010. The refrigerated space will keep beach go-ers cool during the hot summer days of Dubai.
"The refrigerated system will operate using heat-absorbing pipes located under the sand. These pipes will contain coolant to absorb heat from the beach's surface, And will be accompanied by giant wind blowers."
I thought the idea of going to the beach is to enjoy the hot weather while keeping cool in the water. I'm not for it. Versace should just stick to making avant-garde dresses!
