First Lady Michelle Obama Graces Vogue

Vogue Cover Michelle Obama

I absolutely adore our First Lady Michelle Obama. Here she is on the
cover of Vogue wearing another dress by Jason Wu. You remember him, right? He's the same designer who created the evening gown she wore for her first dance with the President at the inaugural ball. Seems like our first lady is a huge Jason Wu fan.

“I’m not going to pretend that I don’t care about it,” she said
to Vogue discussing her sense of style.
“But I also have to be very practical. In the end, someone will always
not like what you wear — people just have different tastes.”

In my opinion, Michelle has a style of her own. I don't see the comparison to Jackie Kennedy
at all. I think her style is modern, regal, classic and very
practical. She's great at mixing and recycling pieces. Click here to read the full interview.

  1. I love her sense of style. She’s so poised, speaks with so much eloquence. This lady can do no wrong. Not sure if I am liking the cover but she looks pretty.

  2. Ooooo. What is she wearing today? What hand does she wipe her butt with? Big freakin’ deal. Serious case of overexposure, especially on the fashion angle; and all while the country is in the economic toilet. Horsey-face needs to lay low in the stables, while her husband goes into campaign mode as he tries to sell a very unpopular stimulus package to the people.

  3. It’s amazing what a pot of money, a sycophantic press, and a witless public can do. Her style? Who knows what it is beyond a careful construct for the outside world–entirely like her husband, an empty suit if ever there were one.
Why waste bandwidth on such tripe?
