Your points would be valid if we didn’t live in a culture that rewards heterosexuality and compels men to identify as “straight” as a way to leverage their masculinity and manhood. I’m not blind to anything (thanks for the patronising decision on my intellect outside of the rather short summation of my views that I wrote before). I think anyone with half a brain, a penis and a liking for other men, no matter how strong, is aware of society’s ridiculously heteronormative ideas of what it takes to be a ‘real man’, but regardless of what privilege they may enjoy outside of the gay porn, my point was that these men have the right to identify as whatever the hell they want. Does it help the rest of us? No. But the reason gay-for-pay has lasted so long (and the reason that gay-for-pay performers tend to get paid more for doing gay porn than they would for doing straight porn) is because there’s a huge market for it. We ‘have a problem with it’, right up until it comes time to renew our Sean Cody membership and then we’re all damn for it.

I can see both points as stated above. Being straight, gay, bisexual or asexual are fundamentally defined as to whom a person is attracted, not specifically the act. Yes, there is Gay sex or male homosexual sex as defined clinically as two men having sexual acts with other, but it does not make someone defined as Gay. A man only attracted to women is straight or heterosexual, but he can still have sex with a man – even as in this video “take it up the ass”.
