Blatant desperation is never sexy, but artist Wes Hempel takes it to a humorous level with his study "How About Now?" It's essentially a painted depiction of the whole "butterface" concept, with a muscular hunk brown-bagging his own face for a potential partner. Could you imagine if someone did this in real life?
Though Hempel doesn't always deliver in such a comical manner, he has a knack for merging classical nude imagery with sexy all-American athletes. There's not anything over-the-top sexual about it, but it's still kind of boner-worthy.

Actually I like these illustrations. In fact, I like them a lot better than a LOT of the crude “drawings” that have been posted here. Although I’m left wondering who the model was and how close he was(is) to the artist.
