While browsing through artist Matthew Stradling's work, I had trouble believing that all of his paintings were by the same person. One moment, you're looking at a fantastical male nude like the one above. Then all the ornamentation is stripped away, leaving a stunningly sparse naked portrait.
If that's not enough to throw you off, you're eventually confronted by a close-up of somebody's anus juxtaposed with a galactic glimpse. I'm not exactly sure what that one means, but I'd like to think that Stradling is saying, "My hole is out of this world."

OK, the anus one is kind of disturbing, but some of these I really like, and not just because of the hot naked bits (but still mostly because of the hot naked bits XP).
