My brain can't even find the words to describe Jack Balas' paintings and drawings. His nude (or partially clothed) male figures bridge the gap between surreal and erotic, often depicted in a toned-down and soothing palette. Some of the compositions can leave you scratching your head with their collage-like overlaps. Others rely on their simplicity.
I'm a big fan of all of these pieces, so it's impossible for me to choose a favorite. But if I had to? I'd probably wind up choosing between the one with the guys handing off a brain and the four naked men on a ceiling fan. Love 'em!

this is just faux art being pushed by a gay website because its gay porn in painted form. stop acting like its art and say what it really is. some bored gay guy who likes painting penises and brands himself an artist.
Wow! Sort of reminds one of Dali and or Picasso in a modern vein. The disconnection and spontoneity is definitively produced, with a definately Gay Twinge! NJMJr!
