Do Republicans or Democrats Have Better Sex?

Have any of your friends ever told you about a guy they met, had amazing sex with and then dumped after finding out their political affiliations? When it comes down to bonking, does it really matter to you if someone is a Republican or Democrat?

Well, the filmmakers behind Outrage have released a B-roll from the film. The individuals interviewed discuss whether there's a difference between sex with Republicans or Democrats. You've heard what they think, now what do you think?

  1. For the ones that said republicans have better sex they obviously have never had really good sex. The kind where you can’t help but cum multiple times. The kind of orgasms where your entire body tingles just before you go, and after it jerks almost like you’re having a seizure….Now that’s a good time!!

  2. I won’t fuck a Gay Republican. plain and simple. Someone who is Gay + Republican is tantamount to being a Jew for Jesus. And if he has so little regard for himself and his rights (and the rights of his fellow gays) that he can accept being downtrodden and shunned by his own political party, he hasn’t got the self respect needed to be invited into my bed.
Said another way, I won’t invite a traitor, who would sell his soul to a party that clearly works against him at the expense of my enjoyment of equal rights, into the place where I enjoy my most intimate moments.
Since Gay Republicans get some sort of satisfaction from being outcast, this shouldn’t be a problem for them.

  3. how ridiculous that i should not give the same respect for someone elses politics as i would expect for my own…whats next? you dont drive a bmw? you dont like the same movies as i do?

  4. Dad,
Your rant is so far off base that it’s not even funny. Do you think that every party member agrees 100% with his/her own party? I am a republican who strongly supports (and I voice it) gay rights, and have sat down with my representatives, both Dem and Republican, and explained the importance of them.
The Republican party is more diverse than you would like to think. When it comes down to it, I agree with the Republican party more than I generally agree with the Democratic party, EVEN THOUGH there are some issues on which the Republican party line is unacceptable. How do you expect anything to change when you want people to jump ship instead of trying to right it?
Let me guess, you send snarky emails to young guys who say they aren’t interested in older guys or delete your emails, when you probably delete lots of emails from people who you don’t find attractive, right? You’re the type that demands respect for your own beliefs but refuses to extend that courtesy for others. A damn shame that you don’t take a second to think.

  5. John123, Thank you for that! I’m also a Repub and people like the guy above I find annoying both online and in reality. There is more to life than “gay rights” and I am not a single issue voter. Oh, and I have never been persecuted nor shunned by my party for the way that I am.

  6. From my perspective, I have not seen any movement by the Republican party, as an organization, to advocate for any gay rights issues- our own Governor Romney staunchly opposed the legalization of same sex marriage in Massachusetts, and actually tried to convince the state’s Attorney General to illegally order the Supreme Judicial Court to reconsider their decision. Thank goodness HE didn’t make it to the Presidency. While Republicans tout their backing the “common man”, traditionally the elected officials of this party have been pushing tax breaks and salary increases for the higher end of the income bracket, not the lower end that they supposedly support.
As far as having sex goes- why would you even consider this question when you are approaching someone that you think is hot? I agree that the concept of a “Gay Republican” is very hard to understand, but I have known several and none of them had 3 heads or were in the habit of devouring small children whole. You would think, however, that they would align themselves with a party that looks out for THEIR interests as well as the other parts of their constituency- and of course the Reps have always had a reputation for not supporting minorities. Ask most low-income level African Americans or Hispanics…

  7. I’ve never had a problem understanding the existence of gay Republicans. They have other priorities ahead of their own civil rights and that’s their prerogative. Furthermore, if we’re just fucking, I really don’t care about their politics.
If we’re dating, it’s another story. The men I want to date believe in economic justice, protection of natural resources, a woman’s right to choose, respect for science AND civil rights, their own and others.

  8. Frankly, party affiliation is more for most people than only gay rights and while I know that love is blind at times, dating someone with so little social compassion would be hard. And frankly, while many Republicans are perfectly “nice” (read socially acceptable), their opinions are often far from loving. I would have no trouble fucking a Republican (and hard), but dating one? At least there are fewer of them left. And I don’t expect “respect” for my views–I expect a good fight.
And if you haven’t felt discriminated by them, have you checked their voting record? Maybe they are nice to your face liv4armani, but you don’t know what they say after you have left the room or to their kids once you have gone home–and besides, as Goebbels noted, most Germans had “their Jew”.
    By the way: we won.

  9. I guess it could happen, idk, i think all the sex i’ve had has been with democrats. But i think that sexual repression thing is right…so yeah they prolly would be better…unless they didnt know what they were doing then it would kinda suck a little

  10. I guess my point went right over the heads of the Gay Republicans.
If you align yourself with a party that has among its core beliefs the intention of keeping me (and my Gay brothers) as second-class citizens, you forfeit your privilege of spending time in my bed.
If your civil rights and the civil rights of your Gay brothers means so little to you that you’ll support those who would prevent us collectively from having them, you forfeit the privilege of spending time in my bed.
Why would I (or any other Gay man for that matter) want to sleep with a person whose party’s political position is that of keeping him down? That’s rewarding evil (if not all-out stupidity), and you’re not going to have the satisfaction of such reward at my expense.
Maybe you personally have never been shunned by your party, but your Gay representatives have at the RNC. What do you think YOU could offer that would result in being treated differently at the place where the party’s platforms are forged?
We’re no longer living in an era of slavery, but when you look at the history of slave owners who boffed their slave women for their own pleasure and still treated them as sub-human, it’s obviously wrong from a moral standpoint.
And therein lies the problem with the Republican party – the great keepers of this nations moral code. They don’t apply the same morality to their own lives that they expect the rest of us to follow. So spare us the rhetoric of how misunderstood the Republican party is. I understand perfectly well the party of class separation and intolerance. I grew up in a Republican family and I have seen first hand the ugliness behind the handshakes and smiles. If you identify yourself as a Republican, you have NO RIGHT to live an openly gay lifestyle. If you do, you’re not really a Republican. And if that’s the case, why would you even want to call yourself one?
For the record, I’m an independent. Democrats have a whole bunch of other issues. But they and I do tend to agree on one thing: equal civil rights are for everyone, not just the rich and white.

  11. In all of this, it may bear remembering that one of the founders of this Manhunt itself is a Republican, who stepped down as Chairman of the board after it was revealed that he had made sizable contributions to McCain’s campaign, but still apparently receives his share of profits from the site. So remember, those who hate the Log Cabiners, your member dollars (and the dollars earned by putting ads in front of your eyeballs) go to a gay Republican. And he helps you get laid.
(For the record, I’m a lifelong registered Democrat who considers this fact to be one of the great downsides to this site, but what’s life without a little cognitive dissonance? I just think it bears noting in this discussion.)

  12. As a gay man I cant help but think that neither party represents my views–and neither party ultimately cares a thing about anything other than being in power. The blind faith that most gay men and women put into the Democrat party is tatamount to the same blind faith that some conservatives put in the Republicans. I believe in small government that leaves us the hell alone—and that puts me at odds with both parties—Democrats want the government to take care of all the peoples needs from cradle to grave–I don’t think thats the governments job. Rebulicans want the government to make my moral choices for me–that’s not the governments job either.
For those that say they could never sleep with a Republican because their policies strip away your rights, etc… I say grow up. Both parties are taking away your rights–just not the same ones. Saying Dems are so much better than Repubs is like robbing Peter to pay Paul.
I come from a country that has a history of blind allegience to a political party. The people were sure that the NSDAP could do no wrong in Germany in 1933. Power corrups–absolute power corrups absolutely.
