Death Grips: “I’ve Seen Footage”

Death Grips‘ “I’ve Seen Footage” opens with a beat that sounds like a bastardized version of Salt-n-Pepa‘s “Push It” and then proceeds to get even weirder. While it’s impossible to say whether the Sacramento trio are bringing a punk aesthetic to hip-hop or a hip-hop aesthetic to punk rock, one thing’s for sure—this song makes me want to punch someone in the face. And I fucking love it.

Stream and download “I’ve Seen Footage” above. If you like what you hear (most of you won’t), Death Grips’ new album The Money Store is scheduled for an April 24th release. Also, a handful of their songs are available for free through their website. Get it!
