Back in 2003, advice columnist and “It Gets Better” creator Dan Savage was so incensed by current presidential candidate Rick Santorum’s views on homosexuality that he decided to get even. And boy, did he. See below.
And that Google bomb is THE FIRST thing that pops up when you look Rick up. Sucks for him.
Savage, with Funny or Die’s help, is trying to insure that Santorum keeps the anti-gay rhetoric to a minimum in his 2012 presidential campaign. I realize he’s trying to be funny (to an extent), but Dan is putting himself on a much lower level than Mr. Santorum. I’m very proud to say Dan Savage does NOT speak for me.

Dan isn’t being a bully, he’s simply trying to stop Rick from saying horrible things about homosexuals in his race. He’s trying to stop young homosexual teens who are afraid of what they are, hearing a man on television say they are disgusting perverse people and don’t deserve the same rights as everyone else just because they were born that way. If it takes a threat to stop a man hurting others I’m okay with that.
