Does anyone else still torture themselves by sitting through the wretched, poorly-written mess known as Glee? It’s funny, ’cause someone I know referred to the upcoming series Smash as “Glee for adults”. Remember when Glee premiered, and it was supposed to be “High School Musical for adults”? It’s only a matter of time before Smash replaces Katharine McPhee, Anjelica Huston, Debra Messing and Megan Hilty with younger, cuter versions who perform auto-tuned Kidz Bop renditions of Katy Perry songs.

While I’m embracing this brief moment of dickheadedness*, can we just acknowledge that Chord Overstreet‘s ridiculously unattractive? He reminds me of a less attractive version of Michael Pitt (which says a lot because I find Michael Pitt inexplicably revolting). In the past, I’ve tried to pander to your aching desire to slip your cock into his “Trouty Mouth”, but I have to draw the line after last night’s episode.
The producers, once again, have found a way to get Chord’s shirt off (because apparently that’s all he’s good for on this show). He joined a synchronized swim team!** It’s coached by Nene Leakes! Pasty hotness ensues… Except not hot at all, because seriously what the hell do you see in this dude? He’s not even a butterface. He’s a butter-needs-to-get-out-of-my-face-with-his-constant-nakedness.

Watched Smash last night (available on amazon), its really boring and cold. Katherine McPhee is good, but the show lacks the heart of Glee.

I’ll be the first person to buy a “Glee has jumped the shark” t-shirt, but last night’s episode was an incredibly strong showing. The girls’ cover of Roberta Flack’s “The First Time” was stunningly well done and underplayed–and fit well into the arc of the show. Nene’s cameo was BRILLIANT. The Becky sub-plot was handled with class and grace, and renews what has always been best about the show. And we even got a song from Will’s fiancee, who hasn’t had a chance to sing before. If you don’t like the show and don’t find the men on it attractive, you don’t have to watch it. I tried to watch/like Modern Family. I found it remarkably unfunny. Not offensive, not demeaning, just didn’t make me laugh. (And I love Jesse Tyler Ferguson.) Change the channel, Dewitt. Instead of being a cruel queen.
And, if Chord Overstreet has “extra body fat,” I should never take my shirt off in public again.

I am always shocked at what mean comments are on this site. I want to think of this site as a place to view sexy hot men. I think there is a nice variety posted here. Well……my first love happened to be a blonde and so I guess I must not have a problem with how they look. However, none of the blondes I’ve had – had any of this extra body fat someone mentioned. Doesn’t look like Chord Overstreet has any extra on his frame – either. I’ve never watched Glee…..but, I see nothing wrong with this kid – except he isn’t old enough to attract my interest. I’d say he’s at least a 7 or 8 on a scale of 1-10 (with 10 being OMG!) and if everyone finds him unattractive…….makes me wonder what all of you lovely Queens look like – because I’m sure most of you aren’t all that and a bag of chips and young Mr. Overstreet could do much better!
He looks like Matt Damon, who everyone thought was just the hottest person alive when Good Will Hunting came out. I would imagine that the makeup artists also overplay his features for the awkward effect(especially the paleness of his face/eyes and his lips.)
This episode of Glee was a hoot, and I pity the fool who can’t enjoy it. What fun performances! Artie was amazing, Emma’s “Wedding Bell Blues” was a joy, the opening “Summer Nights” was cute. Don’t get caught up in the believability of a situation, we’re there to let our imagination stretch. How else would you expect a small-town high school in mid-America to have a dozen amazing singers/dancers accompanied by a full orchestra at the drop of a hat. And this constant harping on whether a certain actor is hot or not is the equivalent of a verbal slushie. There are guys for every taste on the show (though not enough hot black guys), especially now that Blaine overshadows all the others
I refuse to acknowledge that there are hot guys on the show until they bring back Karofsky.
Believe it or not I actually once met the guy who played Karofsky, Max Adler, at a benefit for the Anti-Defamation League, where he spoke out against bullying. He was even more attractive in person-they bulked him up a bit for his role. And a nice guy too! So Dewitt2it-you have good taste-but Blaine is all mine
