And now for something completely different, a letter from a Manhunt Daily reader:
“Just wanted to put on your radar a straight (yet gay-friendly) hunk named Orion Griffiths. He grew up in a circus family and has crazy acrobatic skills. And a rocking body that Calvin Klein and Abercrombie have admired and used for their own nefarious purposes. Currently, he’s part of the ensemble of ‘player’ in the circus-themed Broadway revival of Pippin (though he posted on Facebook yesterday that he’ll be out for the next month due to an injury). There’s a Boston newspaper article that gives some backstory to his life, and he seems like an extra-cool sorta guy.
“I happened to be in New York at the beginning of July and got a standing-room only ticket to see Pippin and wound up with tenting-room only whenever Orion Griffiths was onstage: this MAN has muscular legs that rival the beer-can thick-dicked Hudson for tree-trunk-like proportions. It helps that Orion spends most of the show in skin-tight short-shorts that highlight his bulge.
“He also won a recent Broadway Beauty Pageant charity competition to support LGBT causes in NYC with an impressive showcase of his acrobatic skills for the talent portion of the night (all on YouTube). So, he’s ‘gay friendly’ (better be on Broadway), but he married his long-time girlfriend this past spring, so we’re out of luck as far as getting into those shorts.”
Since I had the privilege of seeing Pippin before it headed to Broadway at Boston’s American Repertory Theater, I can confirm that it’s an excellent show well worth seeing for not just Orion’s bulge, but also Patina Miller and Andrea Martin‘s incredible performances on stage. It deserved all the Tony Awards it won. In fact, we should go back in time and give Orion a Tony Award for his penis.
