Lots of celebrities go overseas for their lucrative endorsement deals and one of the hottest spots for that is Japan. So while in America you may not see Brad Pitt doing commercials, his deal with Japanese cellphone provider Softbank has produced some funny ads, like the one above.
The phenomenon has even got a name, and a website. Japander (Japan panderer) posts these funny commercials that you'd otherwise never see. I guess I can't blame them, they get to make lots of money while not looking like sell outs!
