English producer Bibio‘s new album Silver Wilkinson came out a month or so ago, and if you’re looking for some laid-back tunes on this wretched Monday morning, I’d recommend checking it out on Spotify, iTunes or right down below. Lead single “À tout à l’heure” would be the most obvious introduction to his work, though you might want to direct your ears toward “You Won’t Remember…”, “Raincoat” or “Dye The Water Green” for something even more mellow.
Should you happen to need a little spring in your step, get a minute or so into the album’s seventh track “You”. Once the beat really starts to kick in, it sounds like an instrumental from an early, pre-Kardashian Kanye West production. (I say that with no disrespect to his post-Kardashian work, because I’ve heard it’s actually quite, quite good.)
