The affair between Mayor Sam Adams and a then teenaged Beau Breedlove is still being investigated in Oregon and new facts are making the Mayor look guiltier than ever. New phone records show that the 17-year-old Breedlove (now 21) received 33 calls from Adams before turning 18.
The problem here is that Adams had claimed that while Breedlove was 17, contact between the two was practically non-existent. He also said that Breedlove was the one who pursued him, though the calls are exclusively from Adams to Breedlove.
The Oregonian reports, "Adams' phone records show he made most of the calls to Breedlove in the
weeks after they met in March 2005. Three months later Breedlove turned
18, the age of consent in Oregon. The records don't show when Breedlove
made calls to Adams."

Hey, it’s good to know scandals know no boundaries….even on MH, and even if it’s gossip. Why should gay public figures be exempt from their sexual proclivities? And that Adams guy looks creepy…..but in a Phil Donahue way…ugh.
Not only did Adams lie in order to get elected, but now he’s a TERRIBLE mayor. His policies shunt city money to his vanity projects while infrastructure crumbles. I can’t wait to put my name on the recall petition. 2 months left. Portland’s first gay mayor is a bust!

so over breedlove: It takes two to tango. It’s safe to say that Mr. Adams played as large a role in his being “exposed” as did Breedlove. Adams is a public figure and should have used better judgment.
