After dabbling with dance music on her last release She Wolf, international pop sensation Shakira will be returning to her roots with her new album Sale El Sol. The project has been deemed as bilingual, with more Spanish songs populating the tracklist than English songs.
On the first single “Loca”, the singer reworks El Cata‘s merengue hit “Loca Con Su Tiguere”, along with cameos by the original artist and rapper Dizzee Rascal. How do you feel about this change in direction? Are you excited to hear what else she’ll have to offer?

So much for that. Video removed. Copyright infringement.
Only got the Spanish one, but really liked it. Gloria Estefan did her Mi Tierra album all those years ago and I really enjoy it, still. This reminds me a bit of that. More tropical latin. Probably like it far more without Dizzee Rascal, I’m sure.
Maybe this is the song that will put Dizzie on the American music market. Another hit for Shakira.
