It may seem like we’ve been giving Shakira too much attention on the Daily, but this chick seriously deserves it. Hell, she probably even deserves more attention than we’re giving her! The video for her second single “Did It Again” just dropped, and I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love it.
I’ve said before that I’d go straight for Shakira, and now those feelings are coming back to me (in my pants). Even though there’s a totally hot guy in this video, I can’t even bother paying attention to him. The way this woman moves is absolutely incredible. Major points to the choreographer of this vid!

the craziest thing about Shakira videos (including this one) is that she usually comes up with the concepts and coreographies herself. And if she does hire a famous choreographer they usually just end up working with her ideas, like for the La Tortura video she hired that Jamie King guy who did stuff for Brit n Nsync among many others, but she ended up not liking his stuff, fired him on the spot and just went with her own moves. Shes such a creative genious.

The choreographer for the contemporary part of the video was Katrin Hall, the Artistic Director for the Iceland Dance Company. The movement phrases are taken from another peice called Skekkja(Distorted). It’s pretty bad ass.
