Aural Only: Robbie Williams & Gary Barlow

It’s a crime that we haven’t posted Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow‘s latest collaboration. Or I suppose we should say it’s a “Shame”. The former members of boy band Take That have buried their differences, and now they’re starring in the most homoerotic video since Alexandra Burke‘s “Start Without You”.

Their duet will apparently appear on Robbie’s upcoming greatest hits collection, but this won’t be the last time these two sing on the same track! They’ll be reuniting soon for a brand new Take That album, produced by Stuart Price. Keep your fingers crossed that this somehow involves them taking their clothes off again.

  1. Nothing say ‘bury the hatchet’ and ‘show some more skin’ like the promise of a mega selling single. LOL But even I have to admit, Robbie and Gary fucking in a tent by the hillside is an extremely hot idea. 🙂 Too bad they didn’t go Brokeback all the way thru.

  2. Pretty boring song, and in the end, they can’t jump off Brokeback Mountain into the water. No rebirth here, I’m afraid.

  3. Not their best single as a solo artists or anything else. Hope the new Take That is much better than this collaboration.

  4. The song itself is lackluster and the video is derivative and boring. What happened to taking chances??

  5. Crissakes, have a little fun with it…I’m sure they both know exactly what they’re doing and having a bit of a laugh, and I think they want us to laugh along with (NOT at) them.

  6. I like it. Not overly depressing to make me want to slit my wrists over some bad decisions; good harmonies; and some good looking men. I have always had a man-crush on Robbie Williams anyway.

  7. That is four minutes of my life I will never get back. What a corny song! The guys are hot. That’s about the only redeeming quality about this video.

  8. Gary Barlow?HOT!Robbie(‘I’m NOT Gay’) Williams?Sooooo NOT! Video?Cute, sweet, slightly sexy, like two former lovers finding that life is better with the other person in it…The song?meh…Still, nice effort.

  9. I like the song too. Not sure what you guys are carping about. It’s not a chart-topper but easy to listen to, nevertheless.
