Aural Only: Natasha Bedingfield

We’ve been holding off on Natasha Bedingfield‘s “Strip Me”, because we were convinced it had already been featured on here. As it turns out, we were confusing this song with Bedingfield’s last single “Touch”, so we’ll be giving this on a chance on this Saturday’s Weekly Top Ten. So what do you think–will you be voting for her?

“Strip Me” was produced by Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic, the man responsible for such hits as Beyonce‘s “Halo”, Leona Lewis‘ “Bleeding Love” and his own group’s “Apologize”. This one’s exactly what you’d expect from a Ryan Tedder production, a little bland but perfectly listenable. Not exactly our favorite track by Bedingfield, but we’ll take it…

  1. This song sucks and I am an NB fan. Touch was so much better and underappreciated. Unfortunately, her album is coming out in December and will get lost in the middle of the SuBo, Rihanna, Nicki, Kanye and Taylor battle for the biggest sales.

  2. I Still cannot believe you guys have not covered Nicki Minaj’s new album. Its AMAZING. Instead I logged in today to see a feature of Fantasia. Really??!!! How about we feature Last Chance from the Pink Friday album which features……Natasha Bedingfield. or simply the whole damn album. 😀

  4. how about some hot chip? they’ve had one of the best albums of the year, and a remix ep of tracks from it. they’ve also recently put out a cool single for some converse shoe company promotion in collaoration with new order’s bernard sumner, who in my opinion is one of the best male voices in dance music.

  5. Thanks for posting this song. I thoroughly enjoy Natasha’s music and can’t wait for her new album to drop.

And since you brought up Ryan Tedder, how about we see some One Republic? The group just released a new video for “Good Life,” which has a more upbeat feel.
