ANTM: Welcome To New Zealand

America's Next Top Model, Cycle 14, ANTM, Episode 8, Nigel Barker, Tyra Banks
On last night's episode of America's Next Top Model, the six remaining girls ventured off to New Zealand and participated in go-sees with six of the country's up-and-coming designers. One of the competitors managed to book six out of six gigs, but she couldn't deliver when it came time for the photo shoot.

Speaking of which, the sexy Nigel Barker stepped behind the lens yet again, as the girls posed with sheep in the same dress. So who wound up packing their bags and heading right back to America? We don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't watched, so click through to see the pics and find out!

Krista, America's Next Top Model, Cycle 14, ANTM, Episode 8, sheep, New Zealand, Welcome To Nez Zealand, photo shoot, posing, landscape, black dress

1. KRISTA (LW – 1): When I first saw Krista's picture, I didn't share the judges' enthusiasm for it. My problem was with her face. Her expression in this shot is somewhere between annoyed and "Who farted?" And yet it works for her. If this entire series appeared in a magazine, this is the page that I'd stare at for the longest period of time.

Raina, America's Next Top Model, Cycle 14, ANTM, Episode 8, sheep, New Zealand, Welcome To New Zealand, photo shoot, posing, landscape, black dress

2. RAINA (LW – 4): Elegant as fuck. There's no other way to describe Raina's photo. The beautiful landscape is no competition for her presence, as your eyes can't help but immediately focus on her face. This would have been my number one if she were selling the dress a little better.

Alexandra, America's Next Top Model, Cycle 14, ANTM, Episode 8, sheep, New Zealand, Welcome To New Zealand, photo shoot, posing, landscape, black dress

3. ALEXANDRA (LW – 6): I'm not getting attached to Alexandra. She can occasionally turn out a stunning shot like this, but I don't see her winning this competition. Hell, I don't even see her making it to the top three. Expect to say goodbye to her within the next two episodes.

Jessica, America's Next Top Model, Cycle 14, ANTM, Episode 8, sheep, New Zealand, Welcome To New Zealand, photo shoot, posing, landscape, black dress

4. JESSICA (LW – 5): As far as my predictions go, Jessica is in the same boat as Alexandra. Her performance in the past few photo shoots has been consistently mediocre, and they've been setting up her exit for weeks. With that said, I actually like this picture of her. The only issue is that it makes her look three feet tall.

Angelea, America's Next Top Model, Cycle 14, ANTM, Episode 8, sheep, New Zealand, Welcome To New Zealand, photo shoot, posing, landscape, black dress

5. ANGELEA (LW – 2): You know I love Angelea. Every time she makes cat claws at someone, I nearly cum myself. And she booked six out of six go-sees! Without a doubt, I'm convinced she could potentially win this cycle of ANTM. But not with this photo. That sheep looks more fashionable than she does!

Alasia, America's Next Top Model, Cycle 14, ANTM, Episode 8, sheep, New Zealand, Welcome To New Zealand, photo shoot, posing, landscape, black dress

GONE… ALASIA (LW – 3): Finally! Now I've come to like Alasia over the course of this cycle, but they've been dragging her along for way too long. I knew she was gone from the moment I saw this photo, because her head takes up such a small fraction of the composition. To pull that off, you'd have to deliver some really good face. Do you think Alasia will have a career after the show?

  1. the thing is this competition is really, for me between krista and raina.
its so hard choosing its like raina could be one of the great screen legends like audrey hepburn and krista could be someone like andy warhol’s muse.
how the hell does one choose between andy warhol’s muse and one of the great screen legends.
if it were up to me, i’d let them both win, lets face it none of the other ANTM winners have really broken into the modelling and fashion industry in a big way, so maybe if there was some incentive and some competition AFTER this cycle runs its course – the girls would do better, then in the midst of cycle 15, tyra could do an update on where raina and krista are and whos done better.
    competition always spices things up.

  2. I don’t watch ANTM but yay New Zealand.
Will definitely be tuning into this episode when it airs here in Sheepland.
Too bad we’re two cycles behind in both this show and Project Runway.

  3. Raina has an incredible face, but did you see her body in the swimsuits during the go-see challenge? She is so square that she can only wear flowy clothing or clothes manipulated to look like she has a waist.
I think this cycle belongs to Krista. Her body is tight, her skin is like butter and her edit on the show has been pretty forgiving. I feel like it may be Angelea and Krista in the final two.

  4. the thing is james if krista wins then whats next for her?
she gets a few weeks as covergirls cover model and then back to her day job like all the other ANTM winners ended up doing.
same thing if raina wins – a few weeks as a cover girl and then its back to serving coffee like naima.
they are both too fabulous to end up like that, but the format of the show really doesn’t allow for much else.
i think if tyra let them both win and then in cycle 15 promised a evaluation of where they are – for one episode, they’d be motivated to actually make it work and break into the industry in a BIG way, and there would be the added competition and pressure between the two girls.
i remember ann markley (lol i’ll never forgive jay for calling her “ann the man”, just joking) but she was my all time favorite contestant along with Sara Racey-Tabrizi before raina and krista and she was one of the models who actually did very well in spite of not winning the competition.
the reason she gave for her career going so well afterwards was that she was still in competition with eva pigford the actual ANTM winner for that cycle and because of all the drama and the meltdowns on the show, she still wanted to compete and the competition between them AFTER the show, motivated her to do well since they were still friends after the show and there was still that competitive streak.

  5. I think Angelea will still win, she’s been the most consistant girl week after week, this was her only bad shoot. Krista has come into her own but don’t they always go by the whole season when choosing a winner?

  6. Adam, you are so right!
If I hadn’t seen the show, I would swear it’s the same model in all three photos.
