This story is sooooo over. Just leave the guy alone, for Christ’s sake. All I care about when it comes to Anthony Weiner is that he was an effective progressive voice in Congress who did something stupid (but not illegal, unlike David Vitter, who’s still in the Senate). He was a powerful voice for the LGBT community who actually stood for something, unlike 90% of the people still filling up space in the Congress. And one big reason he is not serving now is because he was cannibalized by other alleged Democrats, who in reality are just candy-assed apologists whose only priority is in keeping their jobs and the perks that go along with it. Now ManHunt jumps on the bandwagon. How sad, truly sad that progressives choose not to support each other but to do whatever they have to to make themselves feel better than someone else.

I never said you personally said anything bad about Anthony Weiner, but you have to admit that a large part of the gay community (as well as the public at large) has a severe case of schadenfreude when it comes to things like this. The man’s political life is likely over, and all people can focus on is the size of his… appendage.
